In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone
Lying on the cold floor
I let my tears hit the marble
You and I were a beautiful dream
A dream too good to be reality
Everywhere I look
I see you in myriad shapes
like you are stuck on replay.
Like two puzzle pieces are we
You and I
We belong but not together.
