Dark is the night,
Darker the soul,
Fathomless depths,
Stories untold,
I weap and I whisper,
Down this bottomless hole,
How did I get hear?
I don't even know,
The further I venture,
The steeper the toll,
The weave of my life,
Slowly unfolds,
Grabbing and gripping like holding some gold,
Starting to gain traction I'm back in control,
Shining so bright,
Thousand watt bulb,
Afterburners lit,
The sky no longer holds,
Law, physics, and chemistry,
No longer withhold,
A phoenix rising,
Truly something to behold
