Dear Grandma, it's been a long time,
Since I've seen your sweet face
It's been almost three years, very hard at that,
But I still miss your bright smile
And your flashy hippy clothes
I miss your obsession with cats
And your love for all things sweet
I miss going to Chillies with you
And grabbing Sonic on the way
I miss your easy going nature
And your laid back style
I miss your old car
And your old house filled with pictures
I used to tell you everything
No matter what it was about,
But now that you're gone it's seems there's no one around
No one to drink tea with
And get a sugar high
No one to laugh and cry with
And decorate the town
We all miss you and all your wacky ideas
Even when you would get us hyper and unable to sleep
And then leave us with our parents
We all miss you and can't wait to see you
And even though we know your pain is gone
We can't help but wish you were here
But you want us to be happy and glad
Because you are in the Great Lord's hands
