Oh God! our secured help in ages past,
Our assurance for years to come,
Our refuge from stormy blast,
And our blissful eternal home.

Our God that quenches fiery darts,
That dissapoints boisterous evil threats,
And makes them desolate 'nd ashamed,
God, being our shield 'nd buckler,
That discomfit enemies too feral to withstand.

Oh God,that will not allow innocent souls to be preyed upon,
That fights for the innocent- both seen 'nd unseen,
And crowns our heads with victory.

God,whose thought is ever noble,
Whose love is ever sacrosanct,
Always showing mercy even in our weaknesses,
That never require payment for his endless favour
If men were God; they would have legislated 'nd rationed air!
And appropriates it to mighty few,
I bow to your majesty.
