I shall rest my life
sitting on the shore
not thinking more
about my crumbling life.
Yes, each day was hard
to pass on amidst the odds!
There’s a little hope that
I could cope and where on
from now my heart wouldn’t be eloped!
The waves soothed my heart
that nothing is permanent.
It was firm and now it’s light!
Yet, holding my heart tight hoping
that at least now everything would be right.
Ain’t my heart synchronise with the riffle,
soothing and slamming the shore!
