Lost outside, found inside: God's hide
In search of God, they claimed, they found,
Within the mosque, they said He's bound.
To those places, I ventured, boundless,
But found emptiness, nothing profoundness.

Another voice then beckoned me near,
In temples and shrines, "God is here!"
From one sacred space to another I'd roam,
Yet still, His presence felt like foam.

Every corner I diligently sought,
With dedication, every inch I sought,
But in my quest, a mistake I made,
Those who claimed, their lies portrayed.

Blindly, I followed, their tales untrue,
In search of God, I wandered askew.
But in the end, I came to see,
God's boundless presence, wild and free.

No single space could hold Him tight,
No dimension could bound His light.
Humanity's quest, a futile chase,
Yet glimpses of Him, within us, grace.

So cease your search in distant lands,
For God resides where the heart expands.
Look within, and there you'll find,
The essence of God, pure and kind.
