I'm a girl
Everything I do
Often vanishes with a swirl
For they say, I'm a girl;
A girl with anger on her nose.
Do you too feel exact?

I knit, I embellish, I sew,
I clean, I cook, I wash,
For they say, I'm a girl;
A girl with nothing to do.
Do you too feel exact?

Everyday I get up early,
No time to fulfill dreams
But to finish the jobs
That my house offers
For they say, I'm a girl;
A girl without sacrifice.
Do you too feel exact?

I fought, because I had to,
Or else I would still been
Tangled up in the calculus.
I'm happy , because now
I read poems and plays,
I dream free and in unique ways.
For they say, I'm a girl;
A girl who wants to dictate.
Do you feel exact?

I write, because my words flow
My anguish makes them glow
Still they say, I'm a girl;
A girl whose words are fake,
A girl who have merely pasted!
Do you too feel exact?

I try hard to make my actions matter,
I work hard to make my presence better,
Just in a hope to see few smiles in return
But they still say, I'm a girl;
A girl with ego on mount.
Do you still feel exact?
