i wonder

On my rooftop, as I stand still,
a stranger captures my mind,
consuming my soul, my everything.
Cities beat, with cars and buses, roads complete, Amidst the crowds rush, life never slows.
An old man sits as the city chaos grows,
His path unclear, his story untold,
I wonder where he is going in that bus,
I wonder if he's got home?
The impatient gentleman, his horns loud blare,
I wonder is his destination near?
perhaps to his dwelling, a place of care?
or to a haven where hearts repair.
I kept on wondering, being clueless was my identity,
I kept on staring blankly, while the cars were moving ,
I kept on wondering about these people, who have no idea they were being watched,
I kept on wondering,if their mind was a house for a stranger?
I kept on wondering about this stranger,...
wondering why he came?
half of my life passed by,
Wondering who was I?
Perhaps,a loner.
An answer that stranger defied.
