Counterclockwise
This year is almost done.
I am trying to reverse the clock.
From day one of three-six-five.
After the fireworks lit the night.
I couldn't recall what I wished for.
To have a good year not like before
Or to be me, with a better version?
Did I fulfill my resolutions?
Looking back all year round.
I live a life safe and sound.
Met new people and lost some.
I’ve done things I never planned.
I fell in love and broke my heart.
I cried endlessly and laughed hard.
I learned to move on and to forget
To face the coming year with no regrets.
What do you think will happen next?
A new year, a new chance to start again.
Time flies and feels like all is yesterday.
But it's never too late for us to be okay.
