In a moonless dark night,
Putting an end to all fight,
Came a beam with promise of hope.
Building ability to challenge for right,
Overcoming all the shame and height,
Came a beam with believe of hope.
Making things look good at a sight,
Spreading the ray and will of christ,
Came a beam with love of hope.
Like a sun huge and bright,
To spread happiness and light,
Came a beam with gift of hope.
