Echoes in the Mirror
In the mirror's silent glass, I see,
A figure staring back at me,
Eyes that search, a soul that yearns,
For answers to the twists and turns.

The face familiar, yet so strange,
With lines of life that rearrange,
Each wrinkle, scar, and trace of time,
A story told without a rhyme.

A thousand moments etched in place,
The joy, the sorrow, and the grace,
The person that I've come to be,
Reflected here, confronting me.

Do you see beyond the skin,
The battles lost and won within?
The hopes and dreams that rise and fall,
The silent echoes of it all.

The mirror whispers truths unspoken,
Of promises made and sometimes broken,
In this quiet, still reflection,
I find a place for introspection.

A journey inward, deep and true,
To understand and to renew,
In the mirror's gaze, I find direction,
A deeper bond with my reflection.
