There used to be cries
and giggles all day
lots of mischief
game of hide and seek
singing together
or playing musical chairs
the chairs were small
and so were the children

With passing years,
there was more peace
sources of happiness
kept changing
hobbies replaced
and so did passion
the chairs got bigger...
