In the morning mist, beneath Kenya’s sky,
We gather as one, our flags held high.
Remembering those who fought with might,
For our freedom, for our right.

From mountains tall to the ocean's roar,
They shed their blood on this sacred floor.

Endured the struggle, braved the pains.
