Happy Birthday to me
I just turned seventeen
a year older and I wonder
how things are going to be
I acknowledge the new responsibilities
that come with it
and I promise myself to accept
every challenge life throws at me
I'll never accept defeat
it's a new beginning, I wish to be
a new version a better me
I'm growing older and
I must work harder
I must be stronger and
smarter than I used to be
I will do everything possible
to fulfill my dreams
and make our family happy!
