From the shadows
It emerges.
Never lingering
Or lasting too long.
It can not stay
Unless it runs deep,
Inside of your veins
And through your blood.

It takes forever to arrive,
Comes in many different forms,
But makes your will to survive
A whole lot more.
So don’t take it for granted,
Don’t be ungrateful,
It won’t last forever,
So embrace the love
For as long as you’ll remember.
