Look and See
Walk with me, see the painted daffodils dripping with the tears of a fallen creation. The roses set on fire by the hope of one longing soul. Leafs dancing through the night, waiting for the sweet honeydew of sunlight. Feel the moss underfoot, giving way to your burden of dreams and pain. Look and see the azaleas molding the new love of springtime, or the carnations in all their glory. Hear the trees groaning, breaking, grieving, for the soil in which they take root. For surely theres a skeleton in the garden, enriching the sod and finding peace in the new life she provides. Reach for the sky now my dear, crawl deep into the earth, fill every corner with your gentle breath. To dust we all return, and to the sky may we soon embrace
