Under Rain's Veil
#WritcoPoemPrompt42

A longing soul, a love bespoke.
For in her words, she sought to know,
What thoughts of her did flood and flow.
But words, they failed me, trapped inside,
As fear and doubt began to collide.

To seek her out, no longer to hide.
With rain's embrace, we both got soaked,
Yet undeterred, our spirits spoke,
Through winding paths, his guidance pure,
To her campus, a love so sure.
I called ahead, my voice a plea,
That I was coming, just to see,
Her radiant smile,...
