Let Go
I've held it longer than I thought I could
I thought all would come back again
Just like it used to be when you and I
Held hands and walked in the rainy nights,
Splashing waters with our feet.
Maybe I was a fool to wait this long
To think we'll walk again this path,
The way that you felt in the silence I'll never know,
All these nights ran longer than before.
But life has to move on, you and me too,
And that's what I've decided to do,
To bury all past, let go and hit the road,
Until I find a safer place to settle,
A place to get my strength
Before I move into the unknown.
