I still can remember the afternoon sun,

But the reality that you will never return, Extinguishes all the lights.

My memories still vivid,

But the memory of you looking so livid,
Suffocates me to emptiness.

Pale and bony; your face ashen,
You feel too weak trapped by your illness,
You are dying; it's my last realisation,
With your beautiful smile looking so lifeless.

When your eyes close,
And your breathing stops,
My heart beat rose,
And my body drops.

I promised you; together till the end,
Staying true to my words,
Together we shall ascend,
