The Bakery
Everything starts at exactly 4:00 in the morning,
that sweet doughy scent awakes me,
like a sweet perfume that wakes my senses.
Your aroma beats the alarm that I set,
Maybe I'm a light sleeper,
but you are truly irresistible.
There are mornings that had made me crave,
to spread variety of fillings,
can't wait to have a taste.
Whether a spread of creamy cheese, butter, or jams,
even a blend of PBJ, LTC or the classic BHLT,
or a toasty warm bun with a coffee on the side, all variety is fine.

now my mind is contemplating, while my tummy is grumbling,
will I go or I'll remain in bed.
Ahhh!!what the heck!
I better get up and dress,
so I pick up my purse and buy myself 2dozen of bread.
