Storm clouds gather in my heart's wide sky,Sorrow's winds hum their somber cry. Rain of tears falls in a relentless flow, Clinging to memories that refuse to go.

Lightning strikes across my chest to keep me up at night, echoing the lyrics of a once-loved song. In each flash, a glimpse of dreams burned away,Scorched hopes that in my mind still sway.

Thunder roars, a deep, commanding sound, A downpour of regret for what might have been found.Yet hope persists, pushing the clouds on their destined path, Allowing a sliver of warmth, from a sun ray's tender bath.
