Autobiography of Trees
I was asleep for a long time
Under a small and lovely seed,
I was suffocating under it
That I could not tell anyone,
Days passed, months passed
And passed a whole year.
Suddenly a kind man came
He showed sympathy on me,
Whispered in my ear
What are you doing here?
He took me and
put me under the soil.
At first I thought
I have been buried forever,
But when someone
put water on me,
The sun gave heat and light
I felt life in me,
One day came out off the seed.
Started growing slowly, slowly
Started flourishing with foliages,
Then became a tree that I today
I am serving you ,
With everything I have.
I don't get angry seeing
Your unhuman activities,
I give you life and
You take my life?
What strange creatures
You human beings are,
You cut me again and again?
Have you ever thought?
If you cut me like this
What will be your future?
Just think for yourself
And for all beings,
If I am no more
You will die forever.
Now leave your disgrace
Fill my words in mind,
Plant trees and save trees
Live yourself and let us live,
Make it your slogan
The earth will be green again .
