Unknown Life
The pages of my old book,
Hold my memories of yesterday,
Every smile, every tear,
Every person who came my way.

All illuminous illusions,
All sorrows undergone,
All fleeting passions,
All hopes begone.

A slumber sleep,
After a day of adventure,
Turned into deep slumber,
That lasted a day tenure.

Past that nothing remained,
Memories in previous birth,
Doubts in the present,
Future at a dearth.

A new love surfaced,
All realizations aflame,
But on the path of distress,
After the flame wasn't a claim.

Now the path ahead is lone,
As had been indicated ages ago,
The old book also torn,
No more memories remain to forego.
