Let my body cover
With the National flag
And the medals on my breast,
Do tell my parents
I fought bravely
In the cannon's mouth
Thus my countrymen should
Hold their heads high
And tell them not to cry
I was born to die ".
When a soldier dies
The blue sky becomes dark ,
The philomel, swallow and lark
Out of pain, cease their strain ,
And the sky starts crying
In form of incessant rain
When a soldier dies.
