Once there lived two maidens
They were 'Truth' and 'Lie',
One day they went to roam about
A palace near by.
On their way there was a lake
With water crystal and clear,
Its very sight did attract them
When they reached quite near.
Naked they went into the lake
To have a blissful shower;
It was truly a nectar of earth
And having fragrance of flowers.
Suddenly the Lie slunk away
With the attire of the Truth...
And the Truth got angry
As the Lie spoiled the broth.
Nakedly the Truth went on
In search of Lie...
But she was reproached by people
Standing near by.
Getting annoyed with the folk
Truth returned into the lake
And from that we did see the Lie
Wearing cloak of Truth she did take.
