A HUNDRED TIMES
And I told them a hundred times
They couldn't understand,
How much I was in pain-
How much I hated this land.
And I was thrown-
In the arena of death,
I had tried to tell them a hundred times,
I was. already out of breath.

The warriors arrive,
With overflowing might-
And I stand in front,
I don't want to fight.
Above the sun rises-
And the battle begins.
I had tried to tell them a hundred times,
I would never be the one who wins.

I am a warrior too, no doubt
But I am not for this land-
The arena they never let me go,
Is the place I should stand.
Even if I won amongst these men,
For me, they would never feel like mine.
I tried to explain them
And I failed,
A hundred times.
