Absence
There's something missing,
Something that I've loved for a long time.
It's slowly disappearing,
Into a darkness that I can never find.
I have glimpses,
Of times when it was mine.
But now I feel it's absence,
For it , I'm nothing but malign.
I dream of it,
That's the only thing I can do.
But eventually I'll quit,
As I'll realise that it'll never be true.
I try to forget it,
But I fail to do so.
I try to move on,
But it's absence will never go.
