Deep in thought
Staring into the abyss
Searching for what was lost in the process of life
Going through all the folders of mind
Skipping through pages for hours
to find that favourite flavour
The one song that played for hours
The scent of that one snack
The memories of that one time
All just vague, familiarity lost in the depths
A world of my own inside those bones
Crafting and drafting words throughout
The book of memor was harder to find
Amidst from those forgotten tales
Yet again to get forgotten on the way
Creating those pages for hours each day
Unfinished we leave for tomorrow to live
