why don't you believe me?
when did i break your trust?
i just want a simple explanation
then you can ignore me if you must

your sarcasm hits my heart
it stings far more than you know
why do you not believe my words?
and why would i lie to you though?

i swear on my life
i am telling you the truth
have faith that i won't deceive you
stop bringing up memories of our youth

we've both made mistakes
we're human, it's what we do
tell me when everything changed
please, because i do not have a clue
