my chest is only causing stress
and my hair is just a mess,
and I’m standing here in this dress
that only makes me feel distress

and when I undress and look in the mirror
I only see the picture
of a miss, not a mister,
of a person that’s not a him, but a her

I stand here with tears flooding my vision,
I wish someone would listen
when I say that my body is a prison
and I am not the boy that I want to envision
