Senses in trance
Senses in trance

I raise my eyes to the heavens,
My gaze is lost in the ether.
I implore all the gods
To fill my deserted heart.

I hear the rustling of the leaves,
Murmurs of fleeing desires,
-Resisting the ultimate mourning-
Echoes of my noisy woes.

I still feel the scent
Of a recent past gone,
Suspicions of a heart like a steamer,
Bubbling and unresolved.

I taste the grooves of your body,
To the joy of your hair
And my mind, sometimes twisted,
Rejoices at your beautiful pace.

Our fate suffers the anathema
Of a fevered Agora;
Though it be the baptism
Of our fevered alliance.
