Meet me in the middle,
With an open mind,
Set aside differences,
We're the same kind...
Roads we walked down,
Take us to the same place,
And though we've grown,
I always wanted to see your face.

My heart beats,
Faster than a speeding car,
'Please, don't get pulled over!'
My heart crys, safe this car.
I said, ‘I LOVE YOU!’
You went quite,
As I try to search for the answer in your eyes.
'I don't love you!'
Words that broke my heart.

My heart crying,
All I can do is look at you,
With no tears falling I turn
'We are still friends, right?'
I ask before I leave.
Not waiting for the answer,
On my way, home, I walked

My heart bleeding,
I reach home,
Not able to smile,nor cry
I still had my best friend.
Weeks after, you texted me,
'My girlfriend, said I can't talk to other girls!'
FOR REAL!
Seven years of friendship,thrown away for a girl you just met,
But who was I, to stand in your way.
At that moment, I thought,
‘I was wrong’

My heart dieing 💔
I should have never told you
I didn't care if you didn't love me.
Even if we never dated,
As long as you were happy,
Your friendship was all I needed.
But, now even that was gone,
I would never see you, soon.

I hope you have a perfect life,
But, will never be your love.
Don't forget, your best friend,
I won't forget my first love.
Good bye my friend,
My first love.
