Little did I know
that time has flown
past a life
that I had never known.
Little did I know
that what mimics the grave
is hidden within,
no death row to tow,
just us alone.
Little did I know
that with a little shouting
I’ll be heard,
but I chose instead
to listen to
that little voice in my head,
“There’s no point even if they hear.”
Little did I know that
mistakes were made
for one to see plain,
not to hide in a cave.
