I love you though you're far from me
An angel you were meant to be
Taken by death at life's first breath
A hole inside my heart you left
When I look around me now
I wonder what you'd be like, and how
You would perceive this place called home
Or do you wander, lost, alone
I cry my tears for the loss of you

But even after all these years
I can never face my fears
