Standing at the edge of reality and disbelief,
A broken soul shivers deep,
Was torn and shattered on the reef,
The waves brought in her pieces, yes in waves it all came crashing down,
In a moment of pure foolishness,
she took a leap and almost drown.
But just as water filled her lungs, and the world began to fade,
she remembered how to swim,
and death she did evade
