This was the first song I have ever written several years ago for an exam. It's based on a very old Mayan legend.

There lived among the Mayan two Greatful warriors
One of them was Tizic the others

Her hair fell down from her precious Shoulders
And her voice had the sound of the
Paradise Bird

Both of the curious boys, stayed
Hidden in the trees
Between the biggest bushes, that grow
Around the stream
They often went down here to look at the women
But never they have seen such heavenly beauty

Tizc was so enchanted, he steped on a Distle thorn
He jumped in pain in the air and
Shouted as loud as he could
Now finally Nichte Ja looked up to
Them
She had noticed both boys before they noticed her

She went back to the beach and
Dressed herself in linen
She went than to the boys and laughed And spotted them
She said to Kinich he is very sweet
And gave poor Tizic her yellow Shroud
