A rainbow of feelings, in hues of delight
We hardly name them, as they take flight
From red for the anger, to yellow for cheer
The rainbow of feelings is held dear

Blue for the sadness, that comes over us
Purple for passion, a life time a must
Green for the envy, that blends in with others
White for innocence, as sisters and brothers

A grey of confusion, will slowly take shape
A bright orange of joy, that's sure to escape
Brown for shame, it slowly creeps in
Pink for love, that's been kind and wins

In shades of the rainbow, our feelings still dance
Each with a purpose, for the human to chance
We let go the worries, and followed the light
In colours of emotion, our spirit takes flight!
