The story of life,
Is a work in progress,
Success or strife,
You're allowed to digress

It's pointless to argue what you've been given
Keep your chin up and embrace the storm
Don't sit around and get by others beaten
Society of some may say to accept this as norm

It's nature's way of making You strong
There will be many who'll bring You down
The treatment You received but, when returned labelled wrong
Don't let them get to You and sell your smile in exchange for a frown

Life as we know it can be mysteriously profound
Love, hate or loathe it, it's yours to live
Find someone or do something to get by with a common ground
Remember, No matter the surrounding ugliness,
overcome it by the love and kindness You give.
