Yesterday is not today,
Tomorrow is not yesterday,
That's what i hear them say,
And so do i find hope everyday,
There's a journey from birth to death,
Travelled on this road called life,
But all i find, all I see,
Is a bumpy ride no matter the speed,
Too many a times, the things we hope for,
The dreams we have,
The choices we make,
The people we meet,
Just happen to be an illusion far from reality,
But with every sunrise we fight for identity,
With every sunset, we hope for equality,
Maybe our efforts will somehow make a possibility,
It's a journey we have, it's a road we have to take,
Sometimes there's less we can do,
We just put on this masks called smiles,
We just sail in wavy and stormy waters,
Only on boats and ships called doubts and fears,
We try to fly but we're stuck on this ground,
facing our failures,
But until then, we keep on hoping,
We keep on praying,
Maybe someday there will be some winning...
