The Lady of Everything, and Some Poet
From afar I send you the world, every breath into bottles to send my holy confessions
–Words of love gone truly blind.
My Lady Grasses, I can't keep my eyes off you, for I think dirty thoughts around you.
Her gown rolls over glossy ballroom floors, so slow it's almost taunting me.
If one day you saw me, would I be in my best wear?
The day our eyes meet, like grabbing your wrists to pull you from harm's way.
I am nothing without you, my friend
–Queen of Crowded Beaches.
This desperate hope deep within me, would you love me the same?
From afar I call out rhymes of every bone broken, something elegant like the way you sway to violins.
If I am not looking at her, I will not look.
But if my eyes linger on her any longer, may god sit upon her shoulder to speak
–an angel on earth.
My Lady Skyline, would you look my way?
When I wake at daybreak, writing is what I do for you
–A loyal routine that keeps me sane without you.
I love you, but I'm an idiot.
If one day you saw me, would I be in my best wear?
Would I stand on a ledge, with my hands in my pockets?
Because I know soon without you, there will be no tomorrow.
You don't have to even love me, just say another word, for the voice of an angel is hell's secret weapon.

I sin for you, a shameful regret, but no mistake.
My Lady of People, her arms wide open.
I am but a writer, I contribute nothing to you.
For she has everything, but 100,000 letters I'm afraid to send.
