I would never forget those shiny little eyes.
The ones that I saw on a gloomy night.
The pair of eyes that could mesmerize anyone.
Even had the power to melt the strongest of hearts.
Filled with innocence.
Glaring at the passerbys.

I would never forget those shiny little eyes.
Squinting to discover what lay beyond.
Eager to receive love and kindness.

I would never forget those shiny little eyes.
Staring at me from a discarded carton in the alley.
They were watchful and glowed in the dark.
I mustered up my courage to take a glance at them.
A train of thoughts running through my mind.
And upon reaching the discarded carton I heard faint purring.
Relieved I looked down at those adorable little kittens !!!!!



p.s. seriously I would never forget those beady little eyes who were successful in jumpscaring me
