Follow My Lead
One day, I had a conversation
with intellect and intuition.
The intellect said,
if you follow me, my friend,
you would never loose again.
The intuition said,
if you follow me instead,
you will always win, my friend.
I was confused.
This seemed convolute.
Whom to choose?
Whom to refuse?
But, a subtle voice inside me said,
Intellect is a page while intuition is the book itself.
This is the difference, if compared.
If intellect is the jam spread on the bread,
then, intuition is the bread itself.
This is the difference, if compared.
I tried to realize the light shed,
decided to follow the intuition and be led,
trusting my consciousness would never deceive.
Now, my instinct, my gut feeling leads me ahead.
