Game Of Life
I knew the embrace of a mother.
Warm, comfy, and safe.
Now all I can do is shun her
Played my feelings like they were a game.

I knew the antique of a grandparent.
Resilient, hardy, and fun.
But they were too old, it was apparent,
Plucked from me, one by one.

I knew the strength of a father.
Undying, loving, and strong.
But he left me on the road to walk,
And heedful will i be for long.

She played my feelings like a board game,
They were plucked from me one by one.
My father left me on the roadside,

This game is far from fun.
