The Little Duck's Waiter Dream
There once was a duck so fine,
with feathers sleek and glossy shine,
who dreamed of waiting tables with pride,
but a complex about height he couldn't hide.

He stood at a mere two feet tall,
compared to the waiters, so grand and tall,
with their towering frames and lengthy strides,
the little duck felt small and mortified.

But his passion for serving others burned,
and his desire to learn could not be turned,
so he donned a little apron and bow tie,
and set out to give it a try.

At first, the other waiters scoffed,
"You're far too short!" they often scoffed,
But the little duck persevered,
with a heart full of courage and determination clear.

He learned to jump and climb with ease,
and never once let his small size freeze,
He greeted customers with a smile so bright,
and served them with all his might.

Soon, the little duck's charm did show,
and customers loved him, so,
They admired his determination and heart so bold,
and tipped him generously with hearts of gold.

And so, the little duck, once ashamed,
became a hero, never again to be blamed,
For his size no longer mattered, it seemed,
because he was the best waiter they had ever seen.
