Sad Revelations
Living alone in continual silence, it's midnight. Window shades drawn to hide the intrusion of heavy lights. Candlesticks flickering somber and quiet. The fireplace hides mounting ashes from multiple logs. Time runs counterclockwise before mechanized horrible sounds fall. Alone the calendar has seen better days. Books upon the shelves covered with spiders webs on every page. Dust particles befriend each morning. The doormat reads know ones home. Sad revelations
