Summer Sick
Wind blew through the streets
Which crunched beneath me feets.
Brown leaves pooled in haphazard piles,
Dead flowers lay in beds
with half naked trees...
Summer seems confused,
Her vibrant colors, gone-
It all feels so wrong.
Heat exhaustion and dehydration,
She went and took an early vacation.
With her last breath she thrust a
a half hearted gust,
Willing the wind to hand the rains to Fall.
A tall order even for the Seasoned...
Summer fell into an oblivion slumber
While equinox plowed on, unaware
That the trees were bare...
With precision
he prepared his annual transition.
Right on time, Autumn fell a bit early.
Manic are these changing chapters.
Curious to know what Winter wields.
Snow covered swampy fields...
Mother nature's show is set.
Forecast calls for a fierce finale.
For now we wait and see.
