Distant Shores.
I slowly
cast a line
into the ocean.
With this feeling,
of pure completeness
in my heart.
I watch
the waves crashing,
into each other.
The water
looks clear
and smells fresh,
from where i am.
A sense
of happiness
fills me.
As my thoughts
become solid
and one with
the heightened feeling
of positivity.
There are
no sad times
ahead.
On this horizon.
No feelings
of hurt.
No feelings
of pain.
Although,
these distant shores
may feel,
at times
to be
so very
far away.
They are forever
active within
in my soul.
Just filling
my core,
to the brim.
These,
distant shores
bring with them,
the strongest feeling
of an over-whelming,
sense of appreciation.
I can feel
the need,
of just being.
Growing,
deeply inside
of me.
All knowledge
of these
distant shores
live far within.
Within,
the deepest depths
of my very soul.
Calling out
as a reminder,
that we all
have a place,
that we can
go to.
When our
deepened sense
of being,
comes a calling.
Those distant shores
will always remain,
a huge part
of our very lives.
