To Bring Comfort

I asked the Lord not to take me yet
Because I have alot of work down here
To try to bring others comfort
To maybe help wipe their tears!

So many here are suffering
Heartaches like they've never felt
Losing their children is devastating
A rough hand they've been dealt!

Knowing myself what people go through
The pain they have in their hearts
When someone they love isn't here anymore
And they have to be apart!

It's so hard for others to understand
The kind of pain we go through
Millions of tears that we've cried
Our love for our children was true!

Heaven is sounding good to me
But I need to stay here for awhile
Because there's people counting on me
But I would love to see my child!

God is bringing me through this hard time
And He's here for me all the way
And I believe in His promises
That I'll see my family again someday!
