I'm sleeping on my laptop, surrounded by huge files...
messy hair, there's no time left to try new hairstyles
I wish I had a break for an hour or two
I need someone to make me a refreshing brew
my call log is filled with missed calls from my boss...
I surprisingly start the day with a sign of the cross
Don't know when's day, don't know when's night
curtains closed, I'm under the dull golden light
No party, no friends and nothing special
it's been several months since I've slept well
Oh God! I can't take all the pressure at once
if another day goes like this I'll be roaming with a gun.
I can't say it loud, but my boss is a tyrant
you'll be surprised if I said I was once vibrant
The lockdown has locked all my plans in a cage...
gotta celebrate my eighteen with mood swings and rage
I dream myself hitting my boss hard in the head...
but in reality, I attend his calls though I'm in bed
I've forgotten to paint, sing , dance and bake
I really feel like I should be given a break.
