Silent War
Its been weeks and days
since the world went silent
the dusty road now's clearer once again
no sounds of horns, no smokes in the air
it's like a peaceful war of a thousand pain
Human deeds created a disease
Devouring lungs and immune strength
It kills at least a thousand deaths
COVID is the name ,now how can we escape?
With no impunity of race the world fell sick
I feel bad for a digit old and weaks
Albeit horizons are blur and the days are tiresome
Heroes are in their white robes now
Now a hygiene and healthy lifestyle
save a person' from illness
The enemy are discreet
Now's the time for discipline
Just a back and forth of a soap
You're saving yourself
With clothed face and healthy diet
We could restore the world once again
Tell me when it all ends
Tell me when I can see you again
But until then, I'll be right here in this two-storey window writing for the poems unheard.
